We Test and Treat Urinary and Bladder Problems

Your quality of life can be greatly reduced by urinary incontinence or bladder pain. Our goal is to provide the diagnosis and treatment that will help you return to normal life activities

Urinary Incontinence

If a simple laugh, cough or sneeze results in urine leakage for you, then you know how troublesome incontinence can be. If left untreated, it can lead to a dramatic interruption of your activities and lifestyle.

It’s important to know, you aren’t alone. For women over age 45, 29% have incontinence. The number increases to 48% for women over age 65. While some attempt to hide their incontinence, others regain freedom when they seek treatment.

We encourage you to tell us if urinary incontinence is interfering with your life. We can do complete testing and begin treatment right in our office. We provide evaluation, including urodynamic testing of the bladder. We also offer non-surgical and surgical (including same day) incontinence treatments.

One of our most common incontinence treatments is the minimally invasive sling procedure. During this procedure, a mesh sling is inserted through an incision and placed under the urethra to form a cradle of support. It can be done in less than an hour on an out patient basis. Read more

Painful Bladder Syndrome

Also called interstitial cystitis, this condition causes inflammation of the bladder wall lining. It can cause discomfort or pain in the bladder or pelvic area, as well as an urgent or frequent need to urinate. We provide both testing and treatment for this condition. Read more.
